Stolen engines – Can you help find them!

Hunsdon Airfield – 19th March

Three engines and various other items were stolen last Saturday (19/03) night from Hunsdon airfield, Harlow, Essex

Aircraft G-WAZP Skyranger

Rotax 912UL with Kiev Propeller

Instrument panel with all instrumentation

Transponder Trig TT21

Radio Icom A3

Aircraft G-CFBL Skyranger Swift

Rotax 912ULS with Kiev Propeller

Radio Icom A20

Various avionics

Aircraft G-CGVG CTSW

Rotax 912ULS with Warp Drive Propeller

Radio Icom A6

Transponder Trig TT21

Many other items were taken radios, GPS, and headsets from four other aircraft. The incident is currently being investigated by Herfordshire police.

Brookfield Farm – 14th March

Two engines were stolen on Monday (14/03) night from Brookfield Farm, Huntingdon, Cambs.

Rotax 912ULS – Serial Number 5651089 (circa 500hrs)

Neuform 3 Blade Prop Hub – Serial Number 343

Blade Serial Numbers 11893506330, 11893503330, 11893514630

(Prop was removed and left, but Spinner Stolen)

Both Engines had Reg tags fitted as you’d expect.

Both Engines were taken as “whole” – ie with Oil tanks, air ducts, Oil & Coolant Rads, Exhaust system, Ignition system etc (even battery regulators).

They also stole various other items inc 60 ltrs Fuel, & 4 x Lightspeed Zulu (1) Headsets.

The Police Crime ref is CF0107420316 (both).

I appreciate it unlikely that anything will crop up in the UK (maybe the headsets) but if you hear anything please let me know.
