CT maker goes bust
FLIGHT Design, the German company behind the CT range of aircraft, has gone into temporary receivership after a customer failed to pay a bill of more than €1M. The unpaid bill was the final straw after a troubled four years for the company, caused by delays with the 912iS, the investment required for production organisation approval and the Russian invasion close to its subsidiary factory in Ukraine.
This may not signify the end of the CT, however. Knut Rebholz, the interim receiver, has been engaged in intensive talks to fund continuing production. “The order situation of the company is good and the products have a very good international reputation in the market,” he said.
Flight Design said: “Despite the receivership we are glad to be able to continue technical support for our customers and dealers at customer.care@flightdesign
