Microlight Hire Changes….

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has published a General Exemption that allows all Type Approved microlights to be made available for self-fly hire. This replaces the previous requirement for individual exemptions that were renewed after three years. The Exemption is in place to expedite a CAA Policy change that will be fully implemented when the Air Navigation Order (ANO) update is published later in 2016.
